Adriana, a good friend also a chef, suggested Blue Sky on York Beach when I couldn't decide where to take Mark for dinner this Friday 4/24/09. Love the ambience ~ Clean cut, spacious and modern interior with live jazz music. Food ~ If you like lobsters, perhaps this might be the place. Otherwise, the choices on the menu are limited. We started with Half Shell Oysters with cranberry and Crab Cake with English mustard sauce. Both delicious. The Jake's Famous Deep Fried Sort Ribs w/Goat cheese was unique in a good way, but the Brick Chicken was a disappointment. I would rate Blue Sky an average for a fine restaurant, but the service was excellent. It was Friday evening, but it was only half filled... what does that tell you?
