Casual, eclectic space has both café feel and hole-in-the-wall appeal. Charmingly quaint and comfortable. That's how The Purple Onion describes their space serving yummy Mexican food at moderate price. It can get really busy on the weekends but the staff are very organized and efficient. Mark's favorite is the beef chili, believe only served in cool/cold seasons. I had the special sweet n sour tomato soup last Saturday... sitting outside the café on the iron chairs watching our kids having fun at the playground just right across it.
